DorPIP is a registered charity and we do not receive any statutory funding. This means that we exist entirely because of the generosity of our clients, volunteers, local business and grant-making organisations.  

Without this support we wouldn't be able to reach out to the new parents across our county - at the point when they often need us most. 

Can you help us to improve the life outcomes for babies and support families to flourish in Dorset? Your donation will help give the best possible start in life to many little ones. 

  • A £5 donation will enable a baby to experience the wonder of attachment-led baby massage 
  • A £15 donation will enable us to reach even more families in Dorset through our social media campaigns 
  • A £30 donation will help run one of our support groups, enabling parents and babies to come together 
  • A £55 donation will provide one essential parent-infant therapy session, often described as 'magic happening in the room'

Life is more fun with friends to share experiences with and Viv has already been roped in to join Jayne on her next walking challenge for DorPIP.  They will be stepping up to new heights not once but 3 times next year. Together Jayne and Viv will conquer the National Three Peaks challenge in 2022. As soon as the event has been confirmed we will create an easy link to our fund raising page for you to support us.

Fundraising events

Despite being postponed in 2020, we had a great turnout for the 5k Inflatable Obstacle Run in 2021. Our mixed team of Trustees, staff and volunteers raised an awesome £1293 between them whilst having fun!

Wing Walk 

At the end of August 2019, one of our courageous trustees, Jacki O’Shea took to the skies on a bi plane. Jacki fulfilled a lifelong ambition to do a sponsored wing walk, raising a brilliant £1,892 for DorPIP. We salute you Jacki and thank you for flying high for Dorset families.

Walking the Wall 

Last year, our good friend, Jayne Taylor walked the length of Hadrian’s Wall. Her six-day long trek (wow!) raised a wonderful £850 for DorPIP – thank you Jayne.
