The role typically requires a commitment of approximately 6-10 hours per month, which includes attending quarterly meetings and preparing for meetings by reviewing relevant documents. Additional time may occasionally be required for strategic discussions, events, or training sessions.

This role is fixed term for a year initially with the opportunity to extend. This is a voluntary, unpaid position. However, reasonable expenses incurred in the course of your duties, such as travel, can be reimbursed.

DorPIP Trustee Description
As a Trustee, you will play a vital role in guiding DorPIP ensuring we deliver our mission effectively. Alongside the rest of the board, you will..
Contribute to the development and oversight of tDorPIP’s strategy, ensuring alignment with our mission and objectives.
Support DorPIP in complying with its governing document and any other relevant legislation or regulations
Help monitor the financial health of DorPIP, ensuring proper use of funds and overseeing risk management.
Act as an ambassador for DorPIP, raising awareness of our work and building networks.
Attend and contribute to quarterly board meetings and participate in events if needed.
Provide guidance and support to the management team while holding them accountable for delivering the charity’s outcomes.
