Jacki is a Bournemouth local who studied Business at Bournemouth College. As Jacki comes from a large family of 6 children she understands the demands and joys of parenting. She raised her own 2 children as a single parent. Jacki brings a wealth of Human Resources, Wellbeing experience and expertise to the Board having worked in a range of demanding roles within International Education, Hospitality and Human Resources. She became personally involved in the welfare of babies and children of staff while creating a nurturing family atmosphere in the workplace. Jacki feels that DorPIP’s mission to inspire and nurture the human spirit, one baby, one parent and one community at a time, reflects her own values and was delighted to be asked to join the Board.

Jacki is also a long serving Executive Member of the Board of Trustees of East Boro Housing Trust (EBHT), a charity providing homes, care and support for the elderly and clients with mental and physical disabilities as well as providing emergency accommodation for homeless families. Her father was involved from the very early stages of this charity in 1960 and she is now carrying on his excellent work.

In her leisure time Jacki enjoys travelling, walking, cinema and theatre. She also volunteers for the Rotary Club and their fundraising activities throughout the year.
